Social Passport

Social Passport leverages the most popular social networks (facebook, twitter, foursquare, linkedin, etc) by making social networking real-time, allowing businesses and organizations to quickly and easily promote their product/service or cause to hundreds if not thousands instantly. The concept of leveraging social networking is simple, market to one, market to many. The question is how do you do it instantly (3 seconds or less) and how do you deploy to everyone without requiring a particular phone, app, or data plan. The Social Passport can be printed, Texted, or downloaded, therefore users with traditional phones, smartphones or users without phones can all be scanned. The equipment to scan a social passport can be accomplished with a webcam, ipod touch, iphone, android device or tablet.

For example an event with 200 attendees can in turn market the event/cause to 150,000 — 200,000 users instantly. These users will see a picture, title, description, and a link to signup/donate or learn more about your event, organization or cause. This information will appear on their Facebook wall, twitter feed, etc. Similarly the example above can be applied to retail stores, restaurants, bars, stadiums and sporting events. How it works: You would send out an email to your attendees asking them to bring their Social Passport.Usually you would create some sort of incentive like a giveaway or raffle.You would then log into our merchant account and create the message you want to show up on your attendees social networking feeds. They would come to the event with their passport and you would scan their phone or paper. If they don’t have it at the event they could text it on the spot. Once you scan their social passport your message would show up on their social media feeds instantly.
