This month, I had the opportunity to utilize the MeFOTO ROADTRIP AIR. When you are on the go you want simplicity. The tripod sets up in seconds thanks to their hyperLock leg lock system. You just have to twist, extend and lock. One of the most dynamic parts of the product is that you can remove the telescoping center column which converts to a selfie stick. Included is a smartphone holder and a Bluetooth remote so you can capture your content from different types of perspectives. Reverse folding legs and compact size make it easy to fit in even the smallest of bags. Going on trains, planes and automobiles has never been so easy for journalist. Walking around NY with the folded up tripod was comfortable and fun. The carrying case can be used as a backpack and is incredibly light (2.5lb). For $175 this is a must have for journalists and photographers.
