We had the opportunity to attend the IHMRS show is New York City. In this age of new technology companies are creating new ways to connect to their customers. As you walked through the new technology aisles of IHMRS you can feel your surroundings come alive. From single touch screens that produce postcards to be to multi touch interactive tables you felt like you were in an episode of CSI.
One of our favorite companies at the show was Merel Technologies. They have created a fully interactive multi touch table that allows users to interact with virtual objects utilizing theior fingers. With the media table and concierge application individuals can have a blast in the lobby and and get information at the tips of their fingers. For $3,500 I would put one of these babies in my house.
The hotel and motel industry is constantly evolving. With new technology we will see a new way to enhance hotel experiences around the country.
