Screme Express @ Verdi Square Mobile Gelato

We had the opportunity to attend the grand opening on Screme Express @ Verdi Square. This is the first mobile food cart of its kind. Located at Verdi Square, outside the 72nd Subway station on the Upper West Side, it is the only Kosher Specialty food cart in New York, and allows New Yorkers to experience the highest quality gelato while they are “on-the-go”.
The Screme Express Specialty food cart was custom made using the highest grade materials, and equipped with state-of-the art equipment.
This is no ordinary pretzel cart – it is a gourmet store on wheels! Its sleek design follows Screme’s stand-alone stores, is staffed by the most friendly and efficient staff and naturally offers New York’s finest and freshest gelato — as Screme’s store customers have come to
know and love. At the event Screme used a new technology called Social Passport .Social Passport is a free tool for business and organizations to leverage social media in real time. Utilizing QR codes individuals can easily connect to facebook, twitter, foursquare, LinkedIn and MySpace and tell their friends about deals or causes they support.
