Star Wars and Rickshaw Sukkahs
What is the coolest sukkahs have you seen recently? Video blogger Aaron Herman got an exclusive look into a Star Wars theme sukkah put together by David Merel and spoke with Levi Duchman inventor of the the pedi-sukkah. The pedi-sukkah has a sukkah attached to a bicycle. Duchman spends 12 hours a day on his pedi-sukkah, traversing from Brooklyn and Manhattan, allowing any New Yorker to go inside and say a blessing.
Duchman said, “It’s the best thing to see people’s reactions, and to give people in New York the opportunity to get involved with the holiday. We get a lot of smiles and pictures, and a lot of positivity, even from the police.”
